Swedish-Ukrainian software developer Sigma Software acquires American IT company A Society Group

Sigma Software Group, a Swedish-Ukrainian IT company, has acquired A Society Group, Inc. a North Carolina-based consulting firm specializing in IT and engineering.

According to Sigma Software Group’s press release, the acquisition of A Society Group, Inc. is an important step in the company’s strategy to better meet the business’s needs for local and global expertise.

According to CEO Valeriy Krasovsky, the acquisition will facilitate closer cooperation with customers and strengthen the company’s position as a reliable partner in the face of geopolitical changes and the growing need for business sustainability.

For more than 20 years, Kharkiv-based Eclipse Software Programming has grown into an international Sigma Software with offices in 19 countries, including Hungary, Romania, and Brazil. “Having offices allows us to launch projects for clients with lower risks, but the priority is development in Ukraine,” said Valeriy Krasovsky.

In 2023, Sigma Software entered the IAOP Top 100 Service IT Companies along with Ukrainian Intellias, Infopulse, and Eleks, working with clients such as Volvo and Comcast in the advertising, healthcare, fintech, automotive, and aviation industries.
