The agro-industrial complex of Dnipropetrovsk region: a foundation for development

The Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA) regularly updates and revises the portfolio of investment projects in the region. Currently, projects in the agro-industrial complex have been updated. This update allows investors and partners to receive important information about projects, including project goals, technical parameters and calculated economic indicators.

Despite the war, agro-industrial enterprises in the region are investing in production, adapting logistics, expanding cooperation with foreign partners and introducing innovative technologies. The resilience of the agro-sector in wartime forms the basis for food security and further development of the region.

Currently, DIA accompanies four investment projects from businesses in the region:

  • creation of a natural honey packaging enterprise (capacity – 300 tons per year);
  • construction of a complex for the production of flour and cereal products;
  • construction of a complex for the storage, sorting, and packaging of fruits and vegetables;
  • creation of the Chervony Tik agricultural processing cluster.

Each project has clear technical solutions and economic calculations. For example, a project to create a complex for storing, sorting, and packaging fruits and vegetables is proposed for implementation on the production territory of a farm located next to a modern garden. The implementation of the project will not only add value to existing production, but also strengthen the presence of local producers in Ukrainian retail chains, enter EU markets and consolidate long-term positions in the segment of high-quality domestic products. The expected effect is an increase in production profitability, the creation of more than 150 jobs and higher revenues for budgets at all levels.

If interested, DIA is ready to facilitate communication with project initiators for further mutually beneficial cooperation. Detailed information about agro-industrial projects is available on the DIA investment portal in the “Investment Projects” section at the link.
