On February 15, 2017 the business meeting of the Director of the Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency and Mark Toson the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Italy was held in Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.

The purpose of the foreign guest visit was the issue of establishing cooperation in the economic sphere between Dnipropetrovsk region and Italy provinces.

Valentyna Zatyshniak, the Director of Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency has presented the Agency, specifying the tasks and services for supporting investment projects.

The catalog of investment products of the region was presented to the foreign guest. There were presented such projects as the construction of solar power stations, the creation of complex for storing fruit and vegetable products and its sorting, as well as the construction of modern greenhouse complex in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Marko Toson the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Italy noted the active cooperation between Italy and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine in the field of agricultural bio-products certification, as well as the interest of Italian companies and market in the products of the Ukraine agro-industrial complex and creation of joint ventures for the manufacture of electrical devices.

“Ukraine is considered to be quite promising and now we begin fruitful cooperation with Dnipropetrovsk as an investment attractive region. In this regard, in April 2017, the “Days of Ukraine in Italy” will be held, where it is planned to present promising projects, including the projects of Dnipropetrovsk region,”- Marko Toson said.
