The European Commission has presented an updated program “Digital Europe” 2025-2027

The European Commission has presented an updated Digital Europe work program for the period 2025-2027 with a total budget of EUR 3.2 billion.

This initiative is aimed at accelerating digital transformation in Europe and opens up broad prospects for business, in particular in the areas of innovative technologies, cybersecurity, development of digital competencies and infrastructure modernization. For companies seeking to strengthen their competitiveness, this is a strategic opportunity to receive financial support and implement ambitious projects.

Among the priority areas of funding:

  • Artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. Funding for the development of solutions based on AI, cloud technologies, and big data processing to improve the efficiency of business processes.
  • Digital skills development. Training programs for professionals, entrepreneurs, and civil servants aimed at adapting the workforce to the requirements of the digital economy.
  • Digitalization of SMEs and the public sector. Support for the implementation of digital solutions to optimize the operations of small and medium-sized businesses and modernize public services.
  • High-performance computing. Investments in supercomputer infrastructure and AI Factories for companies requiring significant computing resources.
  • Cybersecurity. Strengthening the protection of digital infrastructures and developing solutions to counter cyber threats.
  • Semiconductor technologies. Development of the European microchip production ecosystem as a basis for technological independence.
