The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified procedures for the import of construction products needed to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure.

Consequently, construction products manufactured in the EU countries can be imported into Ukraine under a simplified procedure – on the basis of documents (declaration of performance of construction products), according to EU legislation (Regulation (EC) 305/2011). This declaration of the European manufacturer certifies that the products meet the requirements for its quality, safety and environmental friendliness.

The decision of the Government will contribute to uninterrupted provision of the construction products that are necessary for rebuilding of damaged infrastructure; construction of fortifications, military and other defense facilities; civil protection facilities; buildings for permanent and temporary housing of internally displaced persons; industrial facilities that are relocated from the territories of military operations.

It should be reminded that earlier the Law of Ukraine “On the provision of construction products on the market” has been adopted which implements the European Regulation (EU) 305/2011 into the national legislation. The specified law will come into force in full measure on January 1, 2023.
