The UN Women’s Fund for Peace and Humanitarian Assistance has announced a project competition for NGOs in Ukraine

The UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) has launched a call for proposals for civil society organizations in Ukraine to strengthen the protection of women and girls, and to promote women’s participation and leadership in and response to humanitarian crises.

WPHF will support eligible civil society organizations in Ukraine in the following areas:

  • Institutional funding from US$2,500 to US$30,000
    This is to strengthen the institutional capacity of local civil society organizations working on the implementation of the Women, Peace, Security Agenda, with the aim of ensuring their self-reliance and increasing their impact.
  • Programmatic funding of $30,000 to $250,000
    This funding supports programmatic activities of civil society organizations that (i) promote women’s participation and leadership in and response to humanitarian crises (corresponding to Impact Area 3) OR (ii) strengthen the protection of women and girls (corresponding to Impact Area 5).

Please note: an organization can only apply for one of the impact areas.

Application deadline: 12 February 2025

An online information session for this competition will be organized by UN Women and the WPHF Secretariat. To register for the online session, fill out the form at the link by January 5, 2025.
