Ukraine’s Largest Companies Ranked in “TOP-1000+” List for 2025

The business portal InVenture has published the “TOP-1000+” ranking — a list of the largest companies in Ukraine based on gross revenue for 2024.

A total of 1,253 companies with annual revenues over UAH 1 billion were included in the list, collectively generating UAH 7.92 trillion. Notably, nearly 35% of this amount was contributed by the top 100 companies.

TOP-10: State-Owned Enterprises Dominate

Among Ukraine’s ten largest companies, seven are state-owned giants:

  • NNEGC Energoatom
  • NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine
  • Naftogaz Trading Group
  • Ukrnafta
  • Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways)
  • Ukrgazvydobuvannya

The top three private sector leaders include:

  • Energy trader D.Trading (Rinat Akhmetov)
  • Retailer ATB-Market (Hennadii Butkevych)
  • Grocery chain Silpo-Food (Volodymyr Kostelman)

Most Profitable Economic Sectors

The highest gross revenues were generated by companies in the following sectors:

  • Wholesale Trade (281 companies): UAH 1.48 trillion
  • Retail Trade (126): UAH 987.7 billion
  • Electricity Trading (48): UAH 704.3 billion
  • Food Industry (153): UAH 636.6 billion
  • Mining Industry (37): UAH 499.8 billion
  • Agriculture (131): UAH 499.7 billion
  • Natural Gas Trade (12): UAH 374.9 billion
  • Oil and Petroleum Products Trade (61): UAH 344.3 billion
  • Electricity and Gas Distribution (27): UAH 228.7 billion
  • Defense Industry (16): UAH 201.3 billion
  • Transport (16): UAH 192 billion
  • Gas Extraction (12): UAH 155.6 billion
  • Metallurgy (22): UAH 267.3 billion
  • Petrochemicals (6): UAH 104.8 billion
  • Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals (41): UAH 109.9 billion
  • Logistics (17): UAH 87.7 billion
