Ukrainian-Italian business forum, Ukrainian days in Italy (4 days 4 Ukraine) and 18-th Marathon will be held in the city of Padua (Italy) from April 20 till April 23, 2017 under support of Embassy of Ukraine in the Italian Republic, Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Padua and Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In accordance with data provided by the State Statistic Service of Ukraine, Italy is ranking seventh among the countries of the world of foreign trade turnover with goods from Ukraine. In terms of sales volume of Ukraine with European countries, Italy is ranking third behind German and Poland. By positive balance indicator of for Ukraine, Italy is ranking first in Europe. The volumes of Ukrainian export to Italy exceeds the total exports to Germany and France.
The main goods of Ukrainian export are ferrous metals, grain crops (corn, wheat), vegetable oil, kaolin and other clays, fertilizers, cake, wood and wood products, leather and leather goods, shoes, pipes, seeds and oilseeds.
The main goods of import to Ukraine are: boilers machines, mechanisms, plastics, medicines, electric machines, goods made of ferrous metals, hides and leather, paints, varnishes, perfumes, cosmetics, wines, vermouths, reading equipment (lasers), control instruments, etc., paper and cardboard, fabrics, footwear, citrus, furniture, organic chemical compounds, rubber, coffee, tobacco raw materials.
Under the framework of the Forum, it is planning to held Ukrainian-Italian business-forum, B2B meetings between entrepreneurs of both countries, visit Municipality and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city of Padua.
