On November 14, Valentyna Zatyshniak, director of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Investment Agency (DIA), took part in the meeting between Glib Prygunov, Chairman of the Regional Council, heads of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council deputy factions with the European Union Delegation to Ukraine headed by Hugo Mingarelli.

The main issues that were discussed at the meeting were the economic situation and the economic development of Dnipropetrovsk region, with particular attention to small and medium enterprises, the reform of decentralization and its impact on the development of the region, participation of the Dnipropetrovsk region in the programs funded by the EU.

“Ukraine is a priority partner of the European Union, evidenced by signing of the Association Agreement, which includes the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas (DCFTA) between the EU and Ukraine. This agreement contributes to the development of strong economic relations, respect to common values, as evidenced by the growth of Ukrainian goods exports to European markets from 25% to 42%”, said Hugo Mingarelli, Head of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine.
