Today, at the initiative of Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA), a seminar “ Formation and implementation of local preferences to increase the investment attractiveness of communities” for representatives of city councils, communities, investment institutions and regional economic development agencies was held.

The experts on tax and antitrust laws joined the seminar in order to present the specifics of implementation financial and tax preferences by local self-governing bodies.

Presented bases for the local preferences formation by using community resources and opportunities aroused interest and discussion among those present.

Representatives of Pavlohrad and Ternivka city councils shared their own experience and results. Local preferences were presented. The introduction of which is aimed at stimulating SMEs development through partial loan rates compensation, conducting specialized training seminars, grant programs and reducing local taxes and fees.
