On October 4, 2019, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council hosted a business meeting between the Head of the Regional Council, Glіb Prygunov, with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine, Anka Feldhuzen, and the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Stefan Kyle. Volodymyr Tiurin, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council, and Valentyna Zatyshniak, Director of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Investment Agency (DIA) participated at the meeting.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the state of bilateral political and economic relations and emphasized the considerable potential of trade and economic cooperation, which recently shows a tendency for growth and creates new preconditions for increasing German investments in the economy of Ukraine and Dnipropetrovsk region in particular.
“Dnipropetrovsk region and Germany are good example of investment cooperation. Therefore, the main task is to cooperate in a consolidated manner to ensure continuous improvement of the situation. This approach is the basis of DIA activity for successful attraction of investments into the region, including German ones”, – pointed Valentyna Zatyshniak, Director of DIA.
During the meeting the German diplomats were presented with the updated “Investment Guide”, which covers the investment climate of the region, analysis of the economic structure, key features and priority areas for investment, as well as the territory for the implementation of investment projects.
