On February 7, the “European Industrial Day” took place in Dnipro as part of which the round table “Paving the way to sustainable re-industrialization” was held. At the event, Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA) presented promising areas for investment in the industrial, agricultural and construction sectors of the Ukrainian economy, taking into account the consumption potential of the domestic market, staffing and existing industrial practice.
In the round table also took part representatives of business, industrial enterprises, business associations and expert environment, who presented promising areas and projects for the development of the space, energy, engineering and metallurgical industries of the region.
“The initiative of the European industrial days provides for the work of the communicative platform, allows domestic business gradually declare themselves to European partners, to promote themselves and attract investment. For the Dnipropetrovsk region, this is an opportunity to consolidate the image of the industrial center of the country, to show successful transformation and development cases. This initiative is practically new, modernizing and improving. With the involvement of non-EU countries, the event is being held for the second time. Information presented in the West can be taken into account in the process of forming and implementing a common European industrial policy” said Alim Molodan, Deputy Director of DIA.
For the information: “European Industrial Day” is a pan-European concept initiated by the European Commission and is one of the most important EU event in the field of industrial policy. In 2019 European industrial days focus on the key industrial challenges such as sustainability, digitalization, investment and globalization.
