On April 4, 2017 the presentation of the third production line of glass units with automatic gassing of Glas Trösch Dnipropetrovsk Ltd., which is a part of Swiss company Glas Trösch Holding AG, took place in Kamianske. This production method extremely increases the efficiency of products manufactured by the enterprise.
Personally Erich Trösch, the President of the Board of Glas Trösch Holding AG, Volodymyr Tiurin, the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council and Valentyna Zatyshniak, the Director of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Investment Agency attended the event.
Glas Trösch Holding AG is one of the first companies, which projects were accompanied by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Investment Agency. Specifically the construction of the plant for production of glass units in Kamianske (the amount of investment has reached 5 million euros and 90 jobs have been created) and the construction of the plant for float-glass production.
“Despite the economic difficulties in Ukraine, Glas Trösch Holding AG continues to stably operate in the region and hopes that the state will actively promote business development”, – Erich Trösch, the President of the Board of Glas Trösch Holding, AG noted.
Volodymyr Tiurin thanked Erich Trösch for his active participation in investment activity in Dnipropetrovsk region and noted that it is the attraction of investments that indicates the development of the regional economy.
“The visit of Erich Trösch is a good example for potential investors and represents the positive investment climate in the Dnipropetrovsk region”, – Volodymyr Tiurin, the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council, said.
Valentyna Zatyshniak, the Director of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Investment Agency noted the prospects for business development in the region: “There is a deficit of glass in Ukraine, which import accounts for 100%. At the same time, the amount of consumption is equivalent to the production of two large glass enterprises. In this regard the construction project of the plant for float-glass production remains relevant today”.
