Happy Monday and Coursera are launching new areas of free retraining and advanced training as part of the ReSkill UA project. The programs were developed together with major Ukrainian employers — Genesis, EY, and Vodafone Ukraine — and adapted to their hiring needs. We tell you what opportunities are available and how to join the training.

About the ReSkill UA program

ReSkill UA is a free online retraining and advanced training program for Ukrainians, which Happy Monday implements together with the international platform Coursera with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program and the assistance of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The program launched in June 2024. Its goal is to solve the problem of the shortage of qualified specialists in the Ukrainian labor market.

How the program works

1. You choose a field of study.

2. You take courses selected by Ukrainian companies on Coursera.

3. Get international certification and receive a diploma.

As a ReSkill UA participant, you receive:

• technical and career support from Happy Monday and companies: webinars, consultations, internships, networking, etc.;
• access to posting your CV in the closed Hiring Solution candidate database: here, recruiters from partner companies are looking for specialists for open positions.

To participate, you need to fill out the registration form and wait for the selection results.

New areas of free retraining in the ReSkill UA project

Three new courses with employment opportunities were developed with the participation of large Ukrainian employers and adapted to the specific needs of companies:

Fundamentals of Consulting with EY

Marketing in Product IT with Genesis

Telecommunications of the Future (5G) with Vodafone Ukraine

“Fundamentals of Consulting” with EY

In the courses, you will master the basic knowledge and skills necessary to work as a junior specialist in auditing and consulting companies, in particular the “Big Four”.

Participation in the program does not require previous experience.

“Marketing in Product IT” with Genesis

Courses selected by the employer will prepare you for the start of your career or expand your marketing expertise. After training, participants will be able to:

• analyze the market and users;
• understand marketing metrics;
• form a strategy for entering the IT product market;
• provide effective marketing support for products.

Participation in this program does not require prior experience. However, it will also be useful for marketers who want to learn more about promoting IT products or try their hand at this niche.

“Telecommunications of the Future (5G)” with Vodafone Ukraine

A training program for engineers who are familiar with 3G and 4G communication standards and senior students of a professional university who want to expand their expertise in the field of 5G technology capabilities.

Training in this program requires prior experience in the field.
