The development potential of Dnipropetrovsk region was presented in Minsk

During the period from 2-6 July, 2019,  the delegation of Dnipropetrovsk region, consisting of the head of the Petrykivka district council Natalia Kovalenko, the head of the department for socio-cultural sphere and sports of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Victoria Klimovich, the head of the educational development department of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Nataliia Okhota visits the capital of Belarus, Minsk.

In order to promote Dnipropetrovsk region in the investment, economic and cultural spheres, historical traditions and the preservation and development of the intangible heritage of UNESCO of our region, the Dnipropetrovsk delegation took part in solemn events devoted to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, exhibitions of folk art and decorative art, meetings with the Minsk Regional Council and the Minsk City Executive Committee leadership.

In particular, during the meeting with the deputy head of the Minsk Regional Council Liudmyla Luksha, the head of the main department of ideological work, youth culture of the Minsk City Executive Committee Tetiana Khmil and the deputy head of the media department of the Minsk City Executive Committee Svitlana Kysil presented the investment climate and economic potential of Dnipropetrovsk region, implemented measures by the region for the preservation and development of the UNESCO intangible heritage objects.

In the context of the experience exchange and the establishment of partnership, the Dnipropetrovsk delegation presented to the Belarusian side developed and published by Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA): Investment Passport, Travel brochure of Dnipropetrovsk regionWhat to do? & What to see?, Souvenir Album “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Dnipropetrovsk Region”. Also, souvenirs made by Petrykivka painting masters were presented to the Belarusian colleagues.
