The German company DAW SE has invested in the production of dry building mixtures for thermal insulation systems

On March 26, the production of dry building mixtures for thermal insulation systems began in Dnipropetrovsk region at the German concern factory DAW SE (Deutsche Amphibolin Werke, Germany), which represented in Ukraine by a subsidiary of Caparol Ukraine and Caparol Dnipro Ltc.

Work on the project lasted 18 months. The investment volume in the project amounted to almost UAH 20 mln. The jobs number in the company grew by 15%. Contracts with logistics companies and suppliers of local raw materials were signed, thereby making a consistent step in business development in Dnipropetrovsk region and Ukraine.

The company embodies ambitious plans to develop the high-quality building materials production for exterior insulation systems of building facades. And the opening of dry building mixes production was another step in creating an integrated production enterprise to meet the needs of the Ukrainian market.

The production capacity is more than 50 tons per shift.

The openings ceremony was attended by the heads of the German parent company DAW SE, German Consul General, Glib Prygunov, the Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Valentyna Zatyshniak, Director of Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA), representatives of public organizations, partners and distributors of the manufacturer, company management in Ukraine. For these guests, they conducted a tour of the enterprise and a presentation of its facilities, created according to German industrial standards, and equipped with modern technological facilities.  It will produce dry construction mixtures for thermal insulation systems of Caparol and Krautol according to the recipes of the concern DAW SE, Germany.

“Over the past few years, energy efficiency processes in Ukraine have intensified, which increases the demand for products for thermal modernization of buildings. The experience and reputation of Caparol and Krautol are the main indicators of the quality of materials and trust in these brands “, ”said Andrii Chikalo, CEO of Caparol Ukraine.

The opening of the new production demonstrates investors’ confidence in the business and in the future of our country. New production capabilities will increase the company’s flexibility and ensure stable production of high quality materials, rapid development of new products and rapid response to the needs of the Ukrainian market.
