The National Bank forecasts a fall in GDP by a third

According to the estimates of the National Bank, by the end of the year GDP will be reduced by at least a third, said Deputy Chairman of the NBU Sergei Nikolaychuk at a press briefing on the report on financial stability.

“As a result of the war, we expect GDP to shrink by at least a third. We expect inflation to accelerate and exceed the 20% level, ”Nikolaychuk said.

The National Bank expects that these processes “will remain under control.”
