Ukraine continues to increase agro-exports via alternative routes

Ukraine increases export supplies of its agro-industrial.

Thus, 1.3 million tons of products were exported in 15 days of June 2022, which is 51% more than the same period last month.

From this volume grain crops are 652 thousand tons (+39%), oilseeds – 319 thousand tons (+72%), vegetable oils – 136 thousand tons (+99%) and oilcake – 75 thousand tons (+55%).

The main importing countries of Ukrainian agro-industrial products for 15 days in June 2022 were: Romania (26% of Ukrainian exports), Turkey (16%), Poland (16%), Bulgaria (10%) and Hungary (7%).

“Even though the volume of exports is growing, it is still not enough to replace the sea routes. With the help of sea ports it was possible to export 5-5,5 million tons of grain and 500-600 thousand tons of vegetable oils,” – said the experts.
