Ukraine has already attracted half of the external financing needed to cover the state budget’s needs in 2025, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at a government meeting on June 23.
According to him, more than $20 billion has already been raised. Among them:
“There are agreements to fully cover the financial needs for this year. We discussed the financing of the state budget, needs, and agreements with partners for 2026. The Ministry of Finance has been given the appropriate tasks,” Shmyhal said.
The total external financing requirement for 2025 is $39.3 billion.
