KSG Agro leased an oil extraction plant in Dnipropetrovsk region

Agroholding KSG Agro leased an oil extraction plant in Dnipro district of Dnipropetrovsk region. This was reported by the company’s press service.

As noted, at the leased enterprise, KSG Agro plans to process sunflower seeds grown by the holding’s crop farms into first-pressed crude oil.

The capacity of the plant makes it possible to process 2.5 tons of sunflower seeds per month and produce 1 thousand tons of oil. The production is equipped with modern Ukrainian production equipment of 2008.

“Renting an oil extraction plant will allow us to obtain finished products with high added value – oil for further export to the countries of the European Union,” Serhiy Kasyanov, chairman of the Board of Directors of KSG Agro, said.

The press service also reminded that KSG Agro started export deliveries of rapeseed and sunflower oil to three EU countries – Poland, Slovakia and Italy. Thus, within the framework of the KSG Agro contract for the supply of rapeseed to Slovakia, 2,000 tons of this oil seed will be exported. In addition, pilot deliveries of sunflower oil to Poland and Italy using flexitanks have begun.
